New Math Unit – Numbers up to 100 February 3, 2011
Goals for this unit:
Read and record numbers up to 100
Count sets in different ways
Group by 2′s 5′s and 10′s
Count large collections of objects up to 100
Skip count by 2′s 5′s and 10′s
IDEAS TO TRY AT HOME:
Estimate and count the number of things in various places around the house. Example, how many jelly beans in a container, or how many socks in a drawer (counting by 2′s), Also count as much as possible up to 100 using things around your house or outside.
